Cardinals 24 vs. Terriors 22
Scoring for the Cardinals was Katherine Stimpson with 10pts., Haley Callahan 5 pts., Mikayla Hodgdon 4 pts., Haley Aconcia 3 pts., and Helen Woods with 2 points.
Scoring for the Terriers was Arianna Medeiros with 12 points, Taylor Simas and Rachel Stronach with 2 pts. each and Aleska Pena with 2 pts.
Falcons 25 vs. Cougars 21
Scoring for the Falcons was Allyson Braciska and Kelsey Damp with 6 pts. each, Kelly Quigley with 5 pts., Rachel Eatherton with 4 pts., and Jennifer Joyce and Melissa Peters with 2 points apiece.
Scoring for the Cougars was Michelle Hopkinson with 6 pts., Samantha Campbell, Melissa Mackey and Jennifer Maddelini with 4 points apiece, Meaghan Blaisdell with 2 pts., and Alexandria Christopher with one point.
Jayhawks 20 vs. Huskies 19
Jayhawks pulled off an exciting win in an opening round playoff game over a tough Huskies team. Jayhawks were led by Caitlin Morris (8 points), with another strong game in the middle. Outstanding defensive effort put forth by Brooke Patterson and Dana Chaykovsky. Rounding out the scoring for the Jayhawks were Mackenzie Pierce (4 points), Bridget Casey (4 points), and Leanne Lozowski and Stacey Crowe (2 points each).
Scoring for the Huskies were Samantha Laferriere with 9 points, Sara Semenza with 4 points and Marina Callahan, Erin Morrissey, and Tessa Wyatts with 2 points each.
Crusaders 29 vs. Waves 24
In their first playoff game, the Crusaders came out with a full court press against the Waves. This led to a 14-2 lead after the first quarter. Shannon Mclaughlin led the first quarter attack with 8 points and Kim Tecce chipped in 4 and had many steals during the game. The Crusaders put up another 10 in the second quarter as the Waves made a comeback. Defensive players of the game were Devin Kelly, Shannon Mclaughlin and Kim Tecce. Scoring for the Crusaders was spread out as Meghan Sears led the team with 9 points, Shannon Mclaughlin with 8, Jillian Phaneuf with 6, Devin Kelly and Kim Tecce with 4 points each and Jamie McAllister with 2. A great team effort as the Waves made the game much closer in the second half. Scoring for the Waves was Allison Tierney with 9 points, Tiffanie Marsh with 8 pts., and Hayley Feingold, Olivia Gallella and Stephanie Paine with 2 points each.
Wolverines 39 vs. Falcons 11
The Lady Wolverines faced off against a determined Falcons team who were fresh off an upset victory in the first round of the TGBL play-offs. It was a hard fought first half with the both teams trading hoops. The Wolverines came to life in the second half to secure the win. Scoring for the Wolverines was Shannell Nardone 14, Stephanie Champoux 11
Shana Chartienitz 8, Rachel Ragguci 4 and Jen Salvucci 2. Defensive player fo the game was awarded to Kertrina Dustin.
Tarheels 28 vs. Cardinals 15
The Tar Heels advanced to the final four with an impressive 28-15 victory over the Cardinals. The Tar Heels relied on solid defense and excellent passing for the victory. Alex Mecherkany (10 pts), Julia Bodoni (6 pts) and Rachel Pendleton (6 pts) all had a hot hand and carried the offense. Jen Iannacci added 2 points and strong rebounding. Anna Piccolo (2 pts), Megan Sheppard and Abby Donoghue did a fantastic job in man-to-man defense on the perimeter and made it difficult for the Cardinals to get into any rhythm offensively. Michaela Swift worked hard on both ends of the floor and added a nice basket to the cause. Gabi Mecherkany, who continues to improve each and every week, did a nice job helping the guards break the Cardinals' press. Congratulations to the Cardinals for a fine season.

Eagles 37 vs. Jayhawks 13
Scoring for the Eagles was Nicole DePierro with 20 points, Nicole Chaet with 11 pts. and Nicole Hamel with 6 points.
Scoring for the Jayhawks was Caitlin Morris with 5 points, Bridget Casey with 4 pts., Mackenzie Pierce with 2 pts., and Leanne Lozowski and Brooke Patterson with a point apiece.
Crusaders 32 vs. Wildcats 24
The Crusaders had to face
the second ranked Wildcats in their second game of the day.
The Crusaders started off very fast getting out to a 6-0 lead
because of three baskets off rebounds and the inside play of
Jillian Phaneuf. The rest of the game remained a tight
struggle between the two teams. Defensive players were once
again Devin Kelly and Kim Tecceas they harassed the Wildcats
guards all game. Jamie McAllister and Lindsey Andella
played solid defense in the low post. Shannon McLaughlin
did a great job handling the ball and making key inside passes to
the Crusaders forwards. Player of the game was Meghan Sears
led the team with 18 points, including making 10 of 11 from the
free throw line. Meghan put up all 9 points for the
Crusaders in the fourth quarter including sinking all 7 of her
free throws. Also scoring for the Crusaders were
Jillian Phaneuf with 6 points and Shannon McLaughlin and Kim Tecce
each contributing 4 points. Another great team effort for
the Crusaders.
Scoring for the Wildcats was Meredith Bonugli with 8 points,
Rachel Kelleher and Ashley Kelly with 4 pts. each, and Melissa Cordwell,
Linda Ferreira, Haley Golini and Emily Hamilton with 2 pts. each.
Wolverines 39 vs. Falcons 11
Scoring for the Wolverines was Christine Kang with 14 points, Stephanie Champoux with 11 pts., Shana Chartienitz with 8, Rachel Ragucci with 4, and Jennifer Salvucci with 2 points.

Senior Division Playoffs
Wizards 40 vs. Spurs 20

The Spurs played a strong first half but couldn't stay with a skilled Wizards team. Sheri Liggiero, 7 points and Jessie Bissett, 6 points, led the scoing for the Spurs. Hot shooting Emily Hartigan had two key hoops and Hayley Malone, 2 points, and Sydnie Lopolito, 1 point, played well. Strong defense and rebounding by Catie Vultagio and Emily Guiliani and Erin Plunkett played well on both ends of the court. Good luck to all teams as they continue in the TGBL March Madness Tournament. Congratulations and best of luck to Emily Guiliani, Sydnie Lopolito, and Catie Vultagio who are gradudating from the TGBL program.
Sonics 28 vs. Jazz 25
The Jazz, once again, gave the Sonics a run for their money. In this nail biter the Sonics moved the ball around well allowing 6 of the 7 Sonic players to score. Top scorer was Jen Bowers with 8 points followed by Lauren Teixeira and Courtney Spinelli with 5 points each. Rounding out the scoring for the Sonics were Lauren Spencer with 4 pts., Renee Conlin with 4 pts., and Stacey Matrange with 2 points. The defense was lead by Courtney Spinelli and Katie Conklin with lots of help from the rest of the team.
The Jazz and the Sonics played a very good and exciting game. Excellent rebounding by Sarah Reynolds (6 pts) and Liz McVey. Tremendous passing by Sarah Hogan who also had 6 points. Great shooting by Shelby Madore with 9 points. The game was close to the final minute with both teams_playing hard all game. Congratulations to the graduating senior league players Shelby Madore, Hayley Austin, Sarah Reynolds, Kailey Tirabassi (2 pts) and Shaina Licker (2pts). Thanks for a great season.
Raptors 35 vs. Magic 27
The seventh seed Raptors, led by Paige Gumbrecht with 18 points roared back from a 8 point deficit in the first half to earn a hard fought victory against last years town champions. The Raptors outscored the Magic 25 to 7 from midway in the second period to key the victory. Andrea Caprio chipped in with 8 pts, Alyssa Kelly with 4, Emily Fugate and Colleen Garey with 2 and Shannon Shikles with 1. Maddy Lovejoy was named defensive player of the game.
Scoring for the Magic was Jamie Flynn and Jessica Fortier with 6 points, Amanda Cossar and Nicole Devoe with 5 points, Brooke Mallahan had 3 pts. and Gina Papageorgiou had 2 pts.
Blazers 25 vs. Pacers 8
The Blazers make it past the first round with a great win against a good Pacers team. It was an all around team effort by the Blazers. Scoring was Kaylyn Michaud with 7 pts., Alyssa Martucci with 6 pts., Brooke Litwinsky and Michele Gavin with 4 pts., and
In the first round of the playoffs the Pacers found themselves playing an undefeated team. The Blazers were 10 0 but the Pacers came in with a lot of confidence and determination. Led by Christina Dick on defense, the Pacers kept the game close throughout the first half. But offensively they struggled. The ball, all game long refused to go in. Scoring for the Pacers were Alexandra Remigio, Andrea Hardy and Meghan Hamilton with 2 pts. each and Amy DeFrancesco and Alichia Cordeiro with a point apiece. The Blazers were able to pull away in the second half for a victory and moved on to the next round of the playoffs. Congratulations to the entire Pacers team for a great season. And best of luck to the graduating league seniors in their future endeavors. And to Amy DeFrancesco, Christina Dick, Nathalie Roberts, and Courtney Downing, who are the returning players for the Pacers, we also wish you the best of luck and have a great season next year.
Junior Division Playoffs
Rockers
12 vs Mercury 8
The
Mercury team had its hands full with the top seeded Rockers
team. The game was evenly played the whole game and both
sides were working hard and trying to win the game. A late
burst of scoring from Lisa Petrowski and Sandra Fleming won the
game for the Mercury. Hilary Fletcher and her sister
Britney had some excellent assists. The trio of Nicki Santora,
Ashley Collarusso and Marina Russo played great guard defense and
really applied pressure to the Rockers the entire game. Karalyn
Gallela scored a long jumper from the corner to get the Mercury
off and running. Lindsey Cossar played and all around good game
dribbling up against the tough Rocker team that showed why they
were in first place. The Mercury team will be facing a
tough Monarchs team in two week and will be holding a closed door
practice at an unknown location so that the TV cameras will not
video the secret plan.
Rockers
had a phenomenal season this year that ended yesterday to the
Mercury (we're routing for you!) . Alysa Difruscia was our
high scorer this season along with great long bombs and excellent
rebounding Alysa was a great asset to the Rockers. Katie Dunleavy
showed great enthusiasm and love for the game, great on the
outside shot - she is an excellent player. Melissa Marksworth
was our most improved rookie in her rebounding and dribbling
especially - great shooting efforts yesterday!! Heather Doyle was
rookie of the year with extraordinary defense (jumping bean 1),
fantastic first year dribbler, and a few points under her
belt. Meredith Cahill had the speed we needed and did such
a superb job stealing the ball and controling it up the
court. Cristina Gath was the most improved player
overall. To see Cristina take it up to the next level
in rebounding and dribbling was awesome! Corinne Doyle
(jumping bean 2) was a great all around player between her
dribbling, speedy defense, and inbound passing- Corinne is an allstar.
Colleen Kelly (jumping bean 3) was our top stealer with super
quick hands and feet that never seemed to stop and offensively
did a fantasic job taking the ball up the court and scoring some
hoops. Haley Pozutto, last but not least , is a very
talented player offensively and defensively Haley took control -
dribbling, passing, stealing, and shooting - super
impressive player! Great job Rockers!
Starzz
14 vs.

for the Starzz were Molly Robertson with 8 pts., Eva Barinelli
with 4 pts., and Erin Henry with 2 points.
Scoring
for the
Lynx
21 vs. Comets 10
The
Lynx triumphed in a spirited contest against a well coached
Comets squad. A strong third quarter by guard Ally Kelly (4
pts.) and Kayla Berube (6 pts.) led the way. Savy veteran
Amanda Brown (6 pts.), and Shannon (Bruiser) Smith (3 pts.)
played very well. Toni Joy, Emily Veloso, Andrea Doran and
Ashley Figucia all had a strong game.
Scoring for the Comets was Jessica Guida with 4 points,and Carlye Slavin, Rachel Langone and Jessica Lehmann with 2 points apiece.
