They both had great shots but the ball would not go in. There was great rebounding by Olivia Tryder and Charlotte Bartolone. Charlotte Morris scored her other 2 points. Suns vs. Pacers
The Pacers kicked off their season against a fine tuned Suns squad as the Suns gave us a run for our money! It took a bit for the Paces to get in a groove and then they finally clicked in the second half. Defensive props to Jaylee Howard, Maisan Nguyen & Lily Gigante for scrapping after every loose ball on both ends of the court. Gigante, Ally Ragusa & Jamie Munroe were responsible for shutting down the middle and baseline to ward off any shot opportunities. Abby MacAllister, Lexi Polimeno & Katie Polimeno stayed solid throughout the game with strong play on both offense and defense. Six of our eight players got on the boards today: Katie Polimeno (12), Abby MacAllister (8), Lexi Polimeno (6), Lily Gigante, Maisan Nguyen & Ally Ragusa all with 2 points each.
The Suns started off their Senior League season with a tough loss to the Pacers 33 to 13. It was only a 5 point deficit entering the 4th quarter, with offense being tough to come by for both teams. A great defensive effort was played by Brooke Workman, Juliana Ricci, and Klara Holden. Madison Stovesand led the team in rebounding with 15. The Suns scoring came from Abby Hansbury 7, Christina Capachietti 5 and Courtney Capachietti 1. The Suns hope to get into the win column when games start back up in December.
We want to wish everyone a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving!!

Erin Mclntyre took control of the offense and gave her team 13 pts on the day, these baskets were results of some great passing from Brianna Iandoli and Madison Kearney.
